August Open Meeting

Tuesday, August 7th @ 6:30 PM
Longhorn Café*

12311 Nacogdoches (near Thousand Oaks)

Friends & Members:

You are invited to attend this “Open” Meeting for everyone interested in learning and/or sharing the hobby of Water Gardens, including fish and plants.

This meeting is being held during the week to try and accommodate those folks who have been unable to attend the Saturday events.

You might also notice that the location is at a restaurant. We have a separate room reserved so we can keep everyone closer together. Since we have found that most meetings that include food are well attended, figured this was worth a try!

*Please Note: Food purchases are NOT being covered by the club! This is “Dutch Treat”, i.e.: Everyone is responsible for their own food orders/purchases! A menu is included below to give you some idea what is available. A very delicious variety.

As we are extending this invite to anyone who has shown an interest, we would like our Club Members who attend to please bring a couple of pictures of their ponds. These do not need to be how it looks now. Be sure and put on the backs: your name, area of town where you live (not specific address) & any interesting comments, such as size, types of fish & plants and how long you have had your pond.

We look forward to a fun, interesting evening and if this goes well, might consider more evening meetings at different eateries around the area.

Your input will be greatly appreciated!

Also, our membership chair, Dave Cohen, will be available for anyone who wishes to join up!
Feel free to invite family & friends; just share this page!
